For this class project, I used one of my favorite stories, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, to design a book. The text is copyright free, available here, so I had to learn how to create an entire book spread in Indesign.
I used photoshop to edit some of the photos I used in the book.
I like the pop of red I added in the title. I wish I had made the body text larger, and the page numbers smaller. I spent a lot of time deciding how to balance the hierarchy between the chapter heading, the chapter title, the section number, and the first line of body text.
